The interior of a very small studio apartment of 18 square meters. m

A very small studio in the center of Paris turned from a non-habitable space into a comfortable apartment, with everything that was necessary for life, and very elegant. There is a kitchen, a dining room, and a comfortable bed.

The most difficult thing was to choose the furniture so as not to clutter up the living space, and at the same time provide full functionality.

In the dining area, multifunctional furniture was used: the bench can be disassembled into three separate stools, one of which - the middle one - has wheels. The walls are decorated with flowers on the wallpaper - they highlight the dining area and at the same time add comfort.

Interior studio apartment 18 sq. M. m. looks solid due to the fact that in its design used repetitive materials in different zones. The dinner table looks massive, but in fact it takes up almost no space: it is folded, it is almost invisible on the wall, since it has a small thickness.

If guests come, the table leans back, a “leg” is lowered onto the floor - and around it you can fit five people.

The living area is located on the other side of the room. A small plaster bench will allow rational use of space in the corner. Storage space has a hinged door - it can be used as a desktop.

A very small studio is rationally planned, using every centimeter of space. The entire wall is built-in furniture. Its depth is only 40 cm, but this is enough for the organization of a rational storage system.

The doors of the lower cabinet are sliding, you can store dishes there. Above them is a folding work table. To the left is a narrow compartment in which the ladder hides: you can climb it to the sleeping place.

Banquette in the interior of a studio apartment of 18 square meters. m. performs several roles at once. First, it is a place to stay. Secondly, the geometric black and white pattern on it serves as an important decorative element. And thirdly, this pattern is in fact - three pieces of furniture, which, if necessary, are easily removed from under the stools.

A black rectangular coffee table and two white lacquered poufs together with a stool form a cozy living area, and when the guests leave, they can be easily pushed into place to free up the area of the room.

The hardest thing was to make a bed. There was no place for a large folding sofa. The second floor disappears due to low ceilings. A bed in the catwalk is a solution that cannot be implemented in a very small studio. The designer found an ingenious way out of the situation: a folding bed.

The most difficult thing was to calculate the rigidity of the structure, so that it could withstand loads when folded, unfolded and in the working position. The bed is pushed into place using a special mechanism, the principle of action of which is similar to a jack. To soften the course used closers.

The interior of the studio apartment is 18 sq. M. m. used natural wood. Oak cabinets, located near the bed, hide sleeping accessories. One of the cabinets serves as a headboard at the same time.

Above the headboard - open shelves where you can keep books, or a carafe of water. They have a backlight that serves decorative purposes, and at the same time serves as bedside lighting.
